Gordon and Amy Duncan
Gordon Duncan, the pastor, is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary and East Carolina University. He moved to the Garner area with his wife, Amy, in August 2005 after serving as the Assistant Pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, NC. Gordon and Amy have been joyfully married for 13 years and have three girls: Meredith, Landry, and Emma.
In addition to serving as pastor of Sovereign King, Gordon also plays guitar, writes music, and blogs daily about spiritual, religious, and cultural issues at www.jgordonduncan.com. After working in the childcare, legal, and medical industries, Amy now works at home with their children at what Gordon calls AMCO - the Amy Company. A talented musician, she also reads voraciously and contributes to the various ministries of the church.
