GARNER POLICE CHAPLAINCY

In 2006, Gordon was asked to become the Police Chaplain for the Garner Police Force.  Undertaking this privilege was no small thing as the GPD have over 50 officers at any give point and time. 

In keeping with the vision of the church, the Sovereign King Community have adopted the Police Force as their own.  This past Christmas, the kids of the church made gift bags for all the officers to keep in their car, and as we grow, we hope to be able to care for the officers AND their families.  We have also given them Bibles and various gifts during other holidays.  Recently, we provided a meal for the officers and their families.  You can learn more about that event by clicking this link http://www.sovereignkingpca.net/5.3.html
